Public involvement

The DRNS aims to meaningfully involve people with lived / living experience of drug use and affected family members in our work.  We have developed a policy that is informed by examples of best practice, including the National Institute for Healthcare Research’s National Standards for Public Involvement.

The current version of our involvement policy is here:

Please contact us if you have any comments on the policy or if you have experience of problem drug use would like to get involved in drugs research.
